Enjoy the excellent condition of our Championship Links and particularly the fine and testing closing holes. In particular the decision to try the long carry over the 'garden' is one many golfers have regretted.

Enjoy the 19th (bar facilities) in the Christy O'Connor Room located on the first floor in the Clubhouse (dress informal) or the Members' Bar (jacket and tie) situated overlooking the 18th green with a panoramic view of the course, sea and surrounding landscape.

If ever a golf course reflected the personality of its architect, it is surely this Arnold Palmer designed course. It may seem odd to describe a golf course as charismatic and cavalier but from the instant you arrive at the first tee, you are enveloped by a unique atmosphere.

Ireland's First Ryder Cup Venue
You may have been forewarned that Ireland's first Ryder Cup Venue is no ordinary golf course, and that it is widely acknowledged as the country's most challenging inland layout, but still you will be unprepared for the ensuing drama.

The Island Golf Club is one of Ireland's Premier Links Courses. A mere 15 minutes from Dublin Airport. This links course is located across the estuary from the quaint village of Malahide, just North of Portmarnock.

This beautiful links course, in splendid isolation, is surrounded by the Irish Sea, Donabate beach and Broadmeadow estuary. Nestling between the highest sand dunes of any links course in Ireland, it's rugged beauty cannot fail to impress.
